Story: Zoos and aquariums



In 1991 an organisation began turning zoo waste into quality compost called ZooDoo, which gardeners could buy. In 2008 ZooDoo employed over 60 people, and recycled manure from Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch zoos. All money raised went to people with disabilities.
