Mountain buttercup

Large-flowered buttercups are a feature of alpine grasslands and rock fields. Mountain buttercup or korikori (Ranunculus insignis) is found on North Island mountains south of Mt Hikurangi, and southwards to northern mountain ranges in the South Island.
