Thursday (1st of 2)

Thursday

The weekly magazine Thursday was aimed at the new baby-boomer generation who were questioning social conventions and values. It tackled previously hidden issues like alcoholism, suburban neurosis, adoption, infidelity and sexually transmitted infections. Thursday also had a strong focus on the arts and fashion, conveyed in this 1970 cover image of a woman wearing a new-season swimsuit in paisley fabric.
