New Zealand Opera Company: posters (1st of 2)

In 1958 the New Zealand Opera Company produced its first full-scale work, the Marriage of Figaro, which it performed in 47 towns around New Zealand. In the following decade the company toured extensively, allowing New Zealanders to experience professional productions of many of the major operas. These posters give a sense of the company's repertoire and reach.
