Story: Workplace safety and accident compensation

ACC income and expenditure

These charts show where the Accident Compensation Corporation’s (ACC) income came from, and where it was spent, in 2008. Most income came from six different levies, paid by employers, earners, motor vehicle owners and the government. Most expenditure was paid to claimants, with some on injury prevention, claim management (rehabilitation) and other costs.
