Story: Bay of Plenty region



In 1959 the Chinese gooseberry was renamed kiwifruit, with publicity campaigns to increase awareness and sales. This promotional card from the 1980s gives a recipe for kiwifruit-topped cheesecake, one of a series of cooking suggestions.
