Story: Body shape and dieting

Thank you for not talking about your diet

Thank you for not talking about your diet

The Eating Difficulties Education Network (EDEN), established in Auckland in 1990, produced these cards to challenge common beliefs and behaviours to do with dieting. This initiative recognised the connection between body image and eating disorders such as anorexia, as well as the significant role of peer pressure. EDEN initially aimed to provide services for people with eating disorders, but expanded its programmes to focus on eating-disorder prevention and promotion of healthy lifestyles.
