The Great Levante and his magical extravaganza, 1941

The Great Levante is advertised to perform his 'magical extravaganza' at Wellington's Opera House on Easter Saturday, 1941. Saturday night was the time for shows, cabarets, dances, boxing matches and wrestling bouts. The Great Levante, Australian magician Leslie George Cole, toured the world with his illusionist tricks and escapology.
