Story: Te Ara – a history

'Short story' prototype

'Short story' prototype

Every Te Ara entry includes a summary of its contents, known as the 'short story'. This page was a prototype for the design of the short story, using the heading and hero image for 'The Irish in New Zealand' entry. The rest of the text in this prototype is meaningless computer-generated mock-Latin known as 'lorem ipsum', used to fill up the space that would later contain the real text.
