Church sacraments: baptism

Baptism signals a person's entry into the Christian faith and incorporation into church life. The Presbyterian Church has traditionally supported infant baptism. This is the baptismal certificate of Ben Schrader, who was baptised not long after his birth in 1964. As well as sporting the international Presbyterian Church emblem of the burning bush, the certificate features the native pōhutukawa and kōwhai flowers.
