Kilbirnie speedway

A rider on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle readies himself for a race at Kilbirnie speedway, Wellington, around 1929. The man holding the back wheel is going to push-start the bike. Spectators watch from stands.

The rider is Jack Arnott who lost his life in November 1929 at the Davies Park Track in Brisbane.
