Aotea Square

The creation of Aotea Square in Auckland in the 1970s was a major civic project that required the expertise of landscape architects. It was a huge undertaking, partly because a car park was constructed underneath the square. This is Aotea Square in mid-construction (1974) and completed (1980s).
