Bob Charles, 1963 British Open

All eyes are on the flight of his ball as Bob Charles, one of the finest left-handers in the history of golf, dispatches his drive during the 1963 (British) Open at Royal Lytham and St Annes in Lancashire. Charles's win at this tournament marked his emergence into world prominence. Until 2003 he was the only left-hander to have won one of the four major international tournaments.
