Every January and February since 1980, Wellington has hosted a ‘Summer City’ festival. Local bands, dance troupes and entertainers perform in the city’s parks and botanic gardens. This crowd is listening to country band The Warratahs at Anderson Park in the Botanic Garden in the early 1990s.
