The South Canterbury Recreational Sportsman Club has run an annual wallaby hunt since 1991. In 2008, 2,000 wallabies were shot over one weekend. This hunter is weighing one of his trophies. The prize for the heaviest wallaby shot went to Frank Sole of Kurow.
