WOMAD, the World of Music, Arts and Dance, is an international festival which occurs at different sites around the world. The New Zealand festival was held twice in Auckland. It moved to New Plymouth in 2005 and is held there every year in mid-March. WOMAD aims to present a range of music, dance and other arts from around the world.
