The Royal Christchurch Musical Society is shown performing Mendelssohn's Elijah in the Choral Hall, Christchurch, on 20 November 1920. The conductor was J. C. Bradshaw, and there were two visiting English solo singers, Amy Evans and Fraser Grange. Christchurch became noted for its flourishing choral music scene.
