Two sides to a question

During the 1860s several imitations of the British satirical magazine Punch were started in New Zealand. This 1869 cartoon from Auckland Punch pokes fun at the so-called 'servant problem', where, due to the imbalance of males and females in the colony, women servants often had many suitors.
