Te Korimako advertisements

The advertising section of Māori-language newspaper Te Korimako in 1882 features a range of goods for sale. There are advertisements for a pharmacy (tino whare huinga rongoa), T. & S. Morrin & Co., hardware merchants (kai-hoko taonga rino), J. Wiseman, saddler (kai-hanga-tera), the Northern Steamship Company (te kamupene tima o te taha whakaaro [whakararo] o te motu), H. & T. Kohn, jewellers (kai-hanga wati, kai-raweke i nga taonga koura, Hiriwa, aha, aha), W. H. Fenton, hat and cap manufacturers (kai-hanga potae, taunapi, kiepa) and W. H. Hazard, gunsmith (kai-hanga pu).
