Story: Ngā haki – Māori and flags

Pāora Pōtangaroa flag

A number of flags fly at the opening of the Maunga Moria church at Homewood, near Castlepoint, in Wairarapa. The church was for the followers of the Church of the Seven Rules of Jehovah. One of the flags is believed to be the flag of Pāora Pōtangaroa, a Wairarapa prophet.
