Story: Ngāti Porou

Genealogy of Porourangi (1st of 4)

Genealogy of Porourangi

Ngāti Porou took Porourangi’s name partly because his descendants included great warriors and those who made the strategic alliances which laid the foundations of the tribe. This whakapapa (genealogy) shows Porourangi’s children.
