Pāua poaching

Illegal harvesting of shellfish and crayfish is a serious problem in New Zealand. Because there is a black market for pāua, the Ministry of Fisheries undertakes operations to catch poachers. In this video clip, Fisheries and police officers collect and weigh bags of pāua hidden in a suburban garage.
