Story: Kapa haka – Māori performing arts

Ōpōtiki Mai Tawhiti, 2013

The kapa haka group Ōpōtiki Mai Tawhiti perform the poi routine that won them first place in that category, and a standing ovation, at Te Matatini (the national kapa haka competition) in 2013. The competitions took place in sweltering February heat at the Rotorua International Stadium.
