New High Performance Sport New Zealand training centre

In 2011 High Performance Sport New Zealand was set up as a unit within Sport New Zealand and in October of that year its new training centre was opened by the International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge. The training centre is located at AUT's Millennium Campus at Mairangi Bay on Auckland's North Shore. Nearly all the funding for High Performance Sport New Zealand comes from the government.
