Health versus cost

In 2013 results of an Auckland University of Technology study that had measured 1,400 children over 13 years showed that Pacific children were well above the average weight by the age of 10. As this news report shows, the problem was linked to the availability and cost of healthy food in South Auckland Pacific communities.
