Kānga pirau, 2013

Kānga pirau, a type of porridge made from fermented corn kernels, is considered a delicacy by many Māori, although others find it hard to acquire the taste. In this video clip from Seven sharp, reporter Sarah Stewart samples kānga pirau at the 2013 Kāwhia Kai festival.
