Māori weaponry today

This 2011 video clip from the TV series Waka huia shows two of the leading exponents of Māori weaponry in modern times, Pou Temara (Ngāi Tūhoe) and Pita Sharples (Ngāti Kahungunu). The uses and techniques of short weapons such as the mere are described and demonstrated.
