Story: Humour

Bro'Town

Bro'Town, New Zealand's first prime-time animated television show, was first broadcast in 2004. It follows the misadventures of five Polynesian teenagers, Vale, Valea, Sione, Mack and Jeff da Māori, who live in the fictional Auckland suburb of Morningside. Other characters include the principal of their college, who is a fa'afafine (a Samoan biological male who behaves in feminine-gendered ways), and their gym teacher, voiced by ex-All Black Michael Jones. In this clip Vale and Valea have just been released from a period in foster care.
