New Zealand Prostitutes’ Collective (NZPC) national coordinator Catherine Healy discusses decriminalisation of sex work in a television news clip from 26 June 2003, the day after the Prostitution Reform Act was passed. The collective had lobbied for decriminalisation over a number of years, and had worked closely with the bill’s sponsor, Labour MP Tim Barnett, to draft its provisions. Healy had been NZPC's national coordinator since the collective was set up in 1987.
