Story: City images

Māori urbanisation

Television current affairs programmes like Compass showed cities in a new light, introducing a social-documentary style that highlighted the diversity and complexity of city life. In this clip a young Māori woman – known only as Ms Hepi – talks about her initial impressions of Auckland.
