The wind is both a source of invigoration and irritation for Wellingtonians. In the 1990s the Wellington Sculpture Trust decided to celebrate the city's climate by commissioning a series of kinetic sculptures which move in the wind. These have been placed along Cobham Drive (near the airport) and include this installation: 'Pacific grass' by Kon Dimopoulos.
