Story: Hunting

Pig hunting

Video file

Watch pig hunters in the 1940s removing snouts and tails from pigs they have shot. Worried by a population explosion of wild pigs, in 1925 the government introduced a bounty scheme in which ‘one shilling or three rounds of ammunition’ would be paid for a snout and tail.
