Scientists climb a steep section of Hauturu (Little Barrier Island) to collect information for the Allan Wilson Centre's biodiversity study. On the audio track Nicky Nelson of Victoria University explains the aims of the project to Kathryn Ryan of Radio New Zealand in 2012. The study used DNA sequencing to identify the life forms that make up the island's ecosystem.
