Te Tokanga-nui-a-noho meeting house, Te Kūiti

Te Tokanga-nui-a-noho meeting house in Te Kūiti is the focal point for Ngāti Maniapoto. The house was completed under the direction of Te Kooti Arikirangi and presented by him to Ngāti Maniapoto as a token of his appreciation for the sanctuary offered him and his followers.
