Dinosaurs are the most prominent past life forms to appear in popular culture. Dinosaur models are children’s toys and the creatures feature widely in books, movies and cartoons. This model display by Gary Hebley at Victoria University of Wellington’s geology museum depicts the environment inhabited by New Zealand dinosaurs around 75 million years ago.
