Young Nanda Sutrisno (pictured) took part in the preparations for the Indonesian stall at Wellington’s UNICEF International Fair in November 1994. During the 1960s many Indonesians who lived in the capital had close links with the Indonesian embassy. It was there that the first branch of the New Zealand Indonesian Association formed.
