Barbara Kendall and her brother Bruce have between them won five Olympic windsurfing medals. Here she shows her style as she unsuccessfully seeks another medal at the Athens Olympics in 2004. In 2011, three years after competing at her fifth Olympics, Kendall was elected to the International Olympic Committee, on which she served until 2016.
