The chute opens (3rd of 3)

The chute opens

The third phase in skydiving is when the skydiver pulls the ripcord and the chute opens. The skydiver then drifts down towards the landing zone. The pale object under the larger canopy in this photograph is the pilot chute, which pulls open the main chute.
