Fergusson the joker

Sir Bernard Fergusson used his mischievous sense of humour to set those who met him at ease. During a 1967 visit to Woodbank School in Marlborough, he drew a caricature of himself with his trademark monocle and heavy moustache, letting the pupils know he didn’t take himself too seriously.
