Out Takes festival poster, 2014

This poster advertises the 2014 Out Takes Reel Queer Film Festival. The Out Takes Festival began in 1995 and ran in Wellington, Christchurch and Auckland. It featured New Zealand and international films with a focus on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, takatāpui and fa'afafine communities. Seventy-three films featured in the 2014 programme, from a biography of scientist Alan Turing to an animated short film about sexual discovery.
