Dance genealogy

Latin American ballroom dancing, such as the rumba and cha-cha, draws on Spanish and Portuguese court dance, and forms of Latin American indigenous and African dance. Here Krystal Stuart and Frank Bunce, competitors in popular television series Dancing with the stars in 2007, practise a rumba.
