Pasture research, Palmerston North, 1962

This is Grasslands, a pasture research station near Massey University, Palmerston North, in 1962. Grasslands was set up by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) in 1936 as a development from the old Plant Research Station. The DSIR carried out a wide range of research into agricultural and horticultural problems.
