Sophia Hinerangi on the Terraces at Lake Rotomahana

Sophia Hinerangi, better known as Guide Sophia, was the principal tourist guide of the famous Pink and White Terraces before they were destroyed or submerged in the 1886 eruption of Mt Tarawera.
