Tim Parkin

In 2014 New Zealander Tim Parkin was professor of ancient history at the University of Manchester in England. He was a lecturer in classics at Victoria University of Wellington from 1989 to 1998, professor of classics at the University of Canterbury from 1998 to 2004 and professor of classics and ancient history at the University of Queensland from 2004 to 2006. His book Old age in the Roman world was published in 2003.
