Playwright Hone Kouka (right) stands with actor and director Jim Moriarty during a festival of Māori theatre in Wellington in early 2014. The Pūtahi Festival featured Kouka's recent work the beautiful ones, Te Rākau Trust's The battalion, and Jamie McCaskill's Not in our neighbourhood, as well as play readings and live music.
