Christine Webster

In 2010 the Christchurch Art Gallery mounted a retrospective exhibition of Christine Webster's work called Provocations. Webster is concerned with issues of sexuality and identity, which she explores through theatrical portraits of the body. These images come from her 'Black carnival' series of 1993.
