Whitireia Polytechnic's one-year graduate publishing course teaches participants about all aspects of publishing and also involves hands-on experience. Here, page proofs of a book produced by students in the course lie on a desk during the publishing process. The book was Handshake, which told of a mentoring programme involving 12 emerging jewellers who were paired with a mentor.
