Fiona Kidman's novels have female protagonists and critique gender stereotypes and social conformity. She is one of a number of women writers who have tackled these issues through fiction since the 1970s. Here Kidman is at the Hamilton library during the publicity tour for her 2008 autobiography, At the end of Darwin Road.
