An exhibition where the public could view the work of graduating design students became a Wellington Polytechnic School of Design annual event. Here Isabelle Ashforth tries out a concept model of a vacuum cleaner designed by Kent Sneddon at the 1994 show. Sneddon was later employed at Fisher & Paykel, then Methven.
