Pero Cameron pushes past an Australian defender during a match for the Al Ramsay Shield against the Australian Boomers. Cameron, of Ngāpuhi descent, comes from a family of basketballers and in 2002 won the supreme award at the Māori Sports Awards: the Albie Pryor Memorial Māori Sportsperson of the Year.
